I’m not hapu, just fat lol and these are amazing. They do a great job at keeping all of my hinu from jiggling around. In fact I loved them so much I purchased leggings and another pair of bike shorts in the maternity range. However in the other 2 I did size down for more compression to ****** in the jiggly bits. I love how high they come, under my tatas to be exact. I also have back issues and my heat pack stays put under the band. Please bring out more in other colours. The ribbed material is so soft and silky to touch, my thunda thighs just glide flawlessly lol no chaffes for me.

I love my ribbed maternity bike short onyx very comfy and holds my tummy in, making back pain bearable. Also breathable true to sizing. Would ho smaller for post partum. Other than that love love love

"Kia ora! I'm Miria Flavell, the proud founder of Hine Collection. Hine, meaning 'woman' in Māori, embodies the essence of our brand - celebrating women, girls, and the power of femininity. With Te Reo Māori as my first language, choosing a name that reflects my identity and the values of my brand was essential.
Hine Collection is a purpose built brand that was born out of frustration. As a size 16, I was just starting my health and fitness journey after a health scare, I encountered a frustrating reality: the lack of activewear options for women like me. It struck me that if I faced this challenge, countless others in New Zealand and around the world did too. Realising that this was a global issue ignited a fire within me and made me determined to build a brand that created change.
