I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality of these shorts! I've noticed that sportswear brands really like to sell it on how soft and buttery their material is, but these genuinely delivered - they weren't plastic-y feeling, which is what I generally worry about. They weren't too thin either (panty lines not hypervisible), thick and felt like good quality without compromising on breathability.
I will say that I wish that we could have measurements of in-seam lengths of shorts just to have a better understanding of how they might look on us. i.e. I have shorter legs so the mid-shorts look a bit more like bike shorts on me, which is the only reason I rated it four instead of five.
Customer service was also really prompt and friendly when I needed to fix my orders :)

With Te Reo Māori as my first language, choosing a name that reflects my identity and the values of my brand was essential.
Hine Collection is a purpose built brand that was born out of frustration. As a size 16, I was just starting my health and fitness journey after a health scare, I encountered a frustrating reality: the lack of activewear options for women like me. It struck me that if I faced this challenge, countless others in New Zealand and around the world did too. Realising that this was a global issue ignited a fire within me and made me determined to build a brand that created change.
